Overlake Village Pedestrian Bridge

Overlake Village Pedestrian Bridge truss placement over the westbound lanes of SR-520 in Redmond, WA took place on Saturday night (May 16). It forms a key pedestrian/cycling connection between the Overlake Village, 520 Bike Trail, future Overlake Village LRT Station, and will connect with the Microsoft buildings on the north side of the highway. The bridge is being delivered by Sound Transit’s East Link Project and will be owned by City of Redmond. It’s been a longtime in the making, and it’s very exciting to see it take shape.

Schaun Valdovinos worked on the prescriptive reference concept design of this bridge with his previous firm.
